The White-throated quail-dove (Geotrygon frenata), is a species of dove in the Columbidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. At 28–32 cm (11–13 in) long and a weight of 305 grams (10.8 oz.), this is the largest quail-dove and is one of the larger South American pigeons.
