Sus is a genus from the Suidae family composed of wild and domestic pigs. They are native to Eurasia and Africa, ranging from Europe to the Pacific Islands and are omnivorous.
Despite their reputation as lazy and gluttonous creatures, pigs are actually intelligent and highly social creatures, and are in fact so similar to humans that they are used for human medical research.
