The Shelley's francolin (Scleroptila shelleyi), is a species of francolin in the Phasianidae family. The species is named after Sir Edward Shelley, cousin of George Ernest Shelley.
Distribution and Habitat[]
It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitat is grassy woodlands and grasslands.
