The Pygmy hanging parrot (Loriculus exilis) also known as the red-billed hanging parrot and green hanging parrot, is a species of tiny parrot in the Psittaculidae. It is endemic forest, mangrove and other wooded habitats on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. It is overall green with a red rump and a small red chin-spot bordered by blue (the red chin-spot and blue border is reduced in the female). It occurs together with the larger great hanging parrot, but unlike that species the bill of the pygmy hanging parrot is red. It is threatened by habitat loss.
