The Palawan treeshrew (Tupaia palawanensis), is a species of treeshrew sometimes considered a subspecies of the common treeshrew. It was found in the Philippines, where on the Palawan Island it is found from sea level to 1,400 m above sea level. The population tendency for this species is steady. Also, native concentrations differ among similar areas.
Habitat and Ecology[]
This species occurs in jungles rich with fresh water and rivers. It also can be found in agriculture or farming zones, for example, cashew and coconut farms, brushy regions, and logged-over areas.[1] No threats to this species are known.
