The North African elephant shrew or North African sengi (Elephantulus rozeti), is a species of elephant shrew in the Macroscelididae family. It is found in Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia, being the only extant afrotherian within its range. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation and hot deserts.
