Metaphryniscus sosae is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Venezuela and only known from its type locality, Cerro Marahuaca. It is the only member of the genus Metaphryniscus. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
