Mandasuchus is a genus of extinct crocodile like archosaur from what is now known as Tanzania. It was used as a informal name until March 2018. It was discovered alongside Teleocrater, another extinct reptile. It has at first thought to been the ancestor of prosauropods such as Plateosaurus. However, it is now believed to not be a Dinosaur, and was more basal than Prestosuchus.
