The Giant Madagascar Chameleon (Furcifer ousteleti) also known as Ousteli's chameleon and Malagasy giant chameleon, is a large reptile found in Madagascar that is classed as common. Giant Madagascar Chameleons live in every part of Madagascar. They like to live high up in the trees in arboreal forests. It possesses a high casque without having occipital globes, horns, or or rostral processes.
Gular and dorsal crests are made of prominent conical scales. Males are typically larger than the females and have broader tail bases too. These oviparous chameleons can lay clutches of up to 61 eggs.
