Machairoceratops is a Genus centrosaurine from modern day Utah during the Cretaceous period. It was a close cousin to more well known centrosaurines such as Albertaceratops, Avaceratops, Diabloceratops, and Nasutoceratops.

The taxon was recently described 2016 one day after the smaller Spiclypeus a type of chasmosaurine. It also belonged to the line centrosaurinae.
