Description • VEG1505; Aired on 28 Oct 2010 This programs features Saving Endangered Aussie Animals: Gilbert's Potoroo and Hairy-Nosed Wombat. These are two herbivore animals, unique to Australia. In 1863, it was recorded that there were immense numbers of Gilbert's potoroos. But within a number of years, it seemed to vanish. It was Dr Elizabeth Sinclair who rediscovered them.
