Clistopyga Crassicaudata is a species of tropical parasitoids that lives in the Amazon and was discovered in 2018. They have an enormous stinger that injects their powerful venom.
In 2019, while searching for the Rio Apaporis Caiman in Colombia, Forrest Galante and his crew were stung by these species and his cameraman Mitchell Long is starting to have an allergic reaction and head back to camp and taken medication.
