The Brown nunlet (Nonnula brunnea), is a species of puffbird in the Bucconidae family.
It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru in a contiguous range at the eastern slopes of the Andes and the headwaters of the Amazon Basin.
Its natural habitat is subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests.
