The Bates' tree toad (Nectophryne batesii), is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon and possibly Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
