Atelopus petersi is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and rivers at elevations of 2660–3300 m above sea level. It is threatened by habitat loss and probably extinct; the last confirmed record was in 1996.
