The American Mastodon is an extinct species of the Proboscidean Baramin. It lived in North America during the Ice Age.

Appearance[]

The American Mastodon looked like a very hairy elephant. It may have been brownish yellow. It got to the size of a regular elephant. Discovered in Missouri, the mastodon looked like a giant monster warthog. Today, the mastodon looked like a big-tusked Asian Elephant.

Behavior[]

Their behaviour was proably like modern elephants.

Diet[]

American Mastodons ate branches from conifer trees. Like elephants today, they used their long trunks to scrap up the branches to get the leaves and sticks they need for food.

Lifespan[]

They proably got to the lifespan of a normal elephant which is around 60 years.
